Hot BBQ Chicken
Wings

A tantalizing combination of crispy, succulent chicken wings coated in a spicy barbecue sauce, delivering a fiery kick that ignites the taste buds and leaves a mouthwatering and satisfying flavor.

Ingredients

1 x Cup Flour
1 x Tsp Chili Powder
1 x Tsp Salt
1 x Tsp Black Pepper (Freshly ground)
1 x Tsp Smokey Paprika Powder
1 x Tsp Garlic Powder
20 x Chicken Wings
1 x Cup BBQ sauce
1/2 x Cup Runny Honey

Equipment Required

  1. Oven Tray
  2. Baking Paper
  3. Measuring Cup and Spoons
  4. Large Glass Bowls x 2
  5. Tongs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, chilli powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Coat the wings in the flour evenly, shaking off any excess.
  3. Place the floured wings on a baking paper– lined oven tray and spread them out in a single layer.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until skin is crispy and golden brown.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the BBQ sauce and the honey. Stir the cooked wings in the sauce and coat them evenly.
  6. Place the coated wings back onto the baking sheet and spread them in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 250°C until sauce is bubbly and caramelised. Cool, then serve.
  8. For easy cleanup, get rid of the food waste with a Food Waste Disposer.
