Spicy Avocado Hummus
A flavorful and creamy dip that combines the rich and buttery texture of avocados with the zesty kick of spices, creating a delicious twist on traditional hummus.
Ingredients
2 x Avocados (Nice and ripe)
1 x Can of Chickpeas
2 x Garlic Cloves
2 x Tbsp Lime Juice (Approx. 1 lime)
15-20 x Sprigs Coriander
4 x Slices Jalapeno (From the Jar)
1/2 Tsp x Cumin (Ground Powder)
1/2 x Salt Freshly Ground Pepper
2 x Tbsp Olive Oil
Splash of Water
Tortilla Chips
Equipment Required
- Colander
- Blender
- Small Glass Bowls
- Serving Bowl
- Sharp Knife
- Chopping Board
- Kitchen Shears
- Rubber Spatula
- Serving Plate/Platter
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas with chilled filtered water, add to a food processor.
- Add remaining ingredients to the blender, blend until it reaches a smooth consistency, and add a little water as required
- Season with salt and pepper, have a little taste and add extra lime if required.
- Serve with tortilla chips
